<p>Attn everyone: don’t forget that U-M cares a lot about extracurriculars and involvement outside of your ACT/SAT and GPA… so if you want to have a comparison between those who were admitted and those who were deferred, I would advise filling out the prescribed template on page 1 of this thread!</p>

<p>Deferred. 35 ACT, 4.7 W GPA/3.97 UW. Rank 2/400. Illinois resident, Asian. Endless extracurriculars including president of Model UN, volleyball team 4 years, intern for the county. I’m happy for everyone that was accepted, but can’t help being frustrated that even OOS applicants with stats significantly lower than mine received an acceptance email when I didn’t… SO confused/devastated. </p>

<p>Just deferred but that was expected. 32 ACT 3.5 GPA. People at my school who got into wash u and Vanderbilt got deferred. Crazy </p>

<p>For those asking about ACT scores: I got 33 ACT but 34 on October date (which I don’t believe is considered in the application).</p>
<p>I think they’re playing a yield game. All you high scorers, if you can convince them you’ll come if admitted, I bet you’re in like Flynn. </p>
