University of Michigan Early Action / Early Decision Class of 2030 Official Thread

I think part of the issue is that with something like 110 programs ranked top-10 (a factoid stated often by the interim president), and tens of thousands of students wanting to mix and match, it’s somewhat impossible for the school to have hard and fast rules that apply in all situations. Just too many variations, and departments rightly have a strong voice in the decision making about this sort of thing.

@Knowsstuff makes a good point about minors. One of my kids is picking up an asian studies minor “accidentally” because they like the various classes on buddhism so much. One more and poof it’s an official minor.
