My son’s withdraw is gone, it was there this morning and now gone. Is that a good or bad sign we are confused over here!
is it possible UMich is doing 2 waves? one wave today for those with withdraw gone and another final wave next week for those that still have it
@Knowsstuff, forum champion for UMich…do you actually know stuff about this? See what I did there? :). People are commenting on their portal changes so not sure why you are asking if there are portal changes. But…do you know if having a withdraw button disappear means something specific? Some are speculating it means they got in. Others are speculating it means they got rejected. Still others are speculating it means they got deferred. Do tell what you know, please?

for purdue the cancel application button disappeared on the day results came out. but the people who still had the button got in whereas the people who didnt got deferred/rejected

Does Purdue use the same computer platform?
Most US schools use Slate for their portals, purdue and umich included.

… But as I stated a few days ago there are normally Portal changes so hold on tight. Set you phones to vibrate and let’s see that happens. I wish I knew since I have a zoom meeting call around 3:00 eastern….
Do they send an email of you just login and find out?

Historically has the portal updated before the email because I know that occurs for a handful of schools.
My stats for EE are 3.7 UW GPA, 4.38 WGPA, 35 ACT, 1590 SAT, OOS. I have the withdraw button so hoping that doesn’t mean a deferral

For other schools last year (not Michigan), the loss of the withdrawal button meant a decision had been made so perhaps it could mean accepted or rejected and deferred would still have the button. Fun…

Yes. From my memory. Something tells me 3:00 pm Eastern time will be special.

Is anyone able to register for an event on this page? (click on a date and then try registering). this worked last yr apparently for admitted kids, but it might’ve been patched.
