University of Michigan fall 2020 transfer.

Accepted! To LSA, Communications

GPA: 3.64
State: CA
College: Private 4 Yr
64 Credits
SAT: 970
EC’s: Film Sets, Internship at different Univeristy, Improv team

So grateful I got in, even though I don’t have top notch grades or a perfect SAT score

Rejected - Econ? Gpa - 3.75 - probably because i talked about Ross

Accepted to LSA with a 3.37. Here’s hope to people with a lower gpa

That out-of-state tuition is a killlller

Out of state transfer accepted with a 3.27 to S.T.A.M.P.S. More hope to people with a lower gpa, but are well rounded in other areas. (pretty sure I got accepted bc of my portfolio and essays)

cmg600, congratulations! What were your ACT/SAT test scores?
I’m trying to figure out how to increase my OOS transfer chances next year (31 ACT, 3.4 GPA as of now). I figure essays are key as well.
Thanks to those of you giving us with lower GPA’s hope!

@jenn201 Thanks I got a 26 on my ACT and 1080 on my SAT. Also OOS

@cmg600 How many credits do you have ?

@Xye747 I have 57 and I’m taking 15 right now

Just accepted to LSA as an OOS transfer!

@kai0910 Do you mind telling us what year you are, and how many credits you have ?

Are there any more engineering applicants still waiting? I applied on Jan. 30 from a peer institution and still haven’t heard back.

@Xye747 I’m a current freshman with 42 credits by the end of this year.

@wwu990 Yep. I applied for CS in CoE.

@cerberex Have you heard anything back yet?

@wwu9907 no, I did send them an email requesting an update on the status to which they replied that decisions would be released in early April. What major did you apply for?

@cerberex Ok gotcha. I applied for IOE.

YAY!!! Got into LSA with CSP requirements with 3.13 GPA. Guessing really good extra-curricular and essays? SO EXCITED!!!

@cerberex Have you heard back yet? I still haven’t heard a single word yet.

I’m going to request an extension or a waiver for the UMich deposit, but is that binding? Anyone have a clue?
