<p>My daughter lives in Baits and was in the room right above this boy’s room at the time the police arrived. They thought at the time it was a suicide, but I think now they believe it to be an accidental overdose. My daughter was VERY upset and called us at 1:30 a.m. last night.</p>

<p>Apparently, none of his friends could reach him all weekend and finally called the police to ask them to check on him. He was a freshman theatre major. This is just so sad to me. As a mother of a freshman, I just can’t even imagine getting a phone call about the death of my child during her first semester in college (well, anytime, really).</p>

<p>Just heard about this today. Such a loss - my thoughts are with this young man’s family.</p>

<p>Was it something drug related? That would make the most sense at this point.</p>
