University of Michigan Rackham School of Graduate Studies

Hello everyone,

I was recently considering going back to school in pursuit of my Masters degree. I was interested in doing a program that can be completed online since I am a working adult with a child on the way and moving anywhere (or in this case, Michigan) is completely out of the question for me.

Unfortunately, UM-AA does not currently offer any programs that I am interested in ([Distance Learning Programs in Colleges at the University of Michigan | CRLT](http://www.crlt.umich.edu/inst/distlearnprograms)) since they’re either health or engineering-related, however, one of their satellites – The University of Michigan, Flint – does. According to the website, the program is “offered through the world-renowned University of Michigan Rackham School of Graduate Studies.”

So since the program is through UM-AA’s Rackham school, do you guys feel it would be worth the time and money spent? I understand there are a multitude of online schools out there, however, I wanted one that provided a good education, was respected and had good name recognition.

Please don’t overwhelm me with all of your replies at once…
