Villanova Business School or if no Ross Colgate or William and Mary, but still thinking Michigan either way but maybe the delay is there to reflect on all options one more time. Waitlisted at ND and Duke and didn’t even try for any Ivy’s even though coursework/grades/scores were all in line but without a true hook/standout piece felt it would have been fruitless, would consider them for graduate work though for sure.
NYU Stern
Hiprsa73. I am also in a similar situation. Can you let me know what was the outcome of your issue? Did Ross allow you to submit the portfolio subsequently?
@lizzy1234 Im deciding between Ross and Kelley at Indiana University. Still waiting on UMich fin aid to break the tie. I got waitlisted at Berkeley but even if I opt in, Im not really considering them
" Still waiting on UMich fin aid to break the tie. I got waitlisted at Berkeley but even if I opt in, Im not really considering them"
How much more is Michigan currently than Indiana?
@rjkofnovi I cant make a very realistic comparison since I dont have my fin aid award yet, but assuming that Michigan costs me ticket price (62k, OOS with all additional costs), its A LOT much more than Indiana
Congratulations to getting into Ross. But If it comes down to money then go to the school that you will have less loans at. Your a business major… You should know that :). B-)
@Knowsstuff Thanks and youre absolutely right about the loans haha. But also remember that college is an investment, so Im ok with spending a bit more if gives a larger return in the long run
Does anyone know if Ross requires mid year grades? Still waiting & wondering if that’s a piece of my application that is missing since I never saw it was required so they were not send.
@Mattyup I assume you have been admitted to U of M and currently waiting for Ross? Then you do not need to send in the mid year grades.
Tomorrow? @Brantly @billscho
School Counselor, who hasn’t always been reliable, said next Friday is the most likely and that would likely be it.
If no Ross going to accepted students days at Colgate and William and Mary and Villanova for one last look…
@Rossmom2 Yes. Admitted to UMich LSA; just waiting on Ross & got concerned maybe my app was incomplete
@Mattyup Sounds like you have done your job. Hope the wait won’t be much longer for you. Good luck!
Does anyone think it’ll be today?
I think next week, “mid-April” and for those who were not even accepted to UMich until March they may not hear until end of April, per another student in our area who was recently accepted to LSA.
Do you think they’re waiting for other kids to decline so they know how many spots they have left?
@plsross I do think they are “managing” the admits so yes to a degree they are waiting to see if accepted students decline as well as they continue to review students who were just admitted. Being accepting back in December to LSA I think we are waiting on any declines to open up a spot. Not feeling hopeful anymore as we do know of a couple other local students who are also waiting with similar solid stats etc. Likely 1000 invitations out of 5000 + for 600 spots give or take broken down by Instate, OOS, gender, URM, international to make up a diverse class makes admissions very competitive. Assuming similar to last year, but I bet they received more applications maybe over 6000. (Purely my own speculations/assumptions)
@FoxRulz… Where are you getting your stats from?
