University of Michigan Transfers Winter 2026

Great! Thanks so much keep me posted :))

What is your major?

I probably shouldve prefaced but i know how the process works but more stats about gpa, volunteering hours, and what i would need to successfully transfer

Not exactly sure because I’m applying for LSA. I do know that LSA has an average GPA of around 3.8 for transfers so the nursing school would probably be higher, but you should probably just call admissions and ask.

political science and spanish!

Did anyone hear back?

I haven’t heard back and I applied in mid August so I have to imagine I’ll be on of the earliest decisions

Same I also applied mid august, hopefully it’ll come this week. I mean based on past years it should.

Yeah I also applied August and haven’t heard back yet. People were hearing a day after the deadline last year but I haven’t seen anything this year. Kinda weird but oh well.

Right!! Like past years people heard back super quickly…

Anybody get there transfer credit summary?

No, don’t you only get that once you’re been admitted. Did you get it?

No I haven’t gotten anything else. The email I got said “should up be admitted” so it doesn’t mean I got in.

I got mine yesterday

Were you LSA?

That’s a weird email lol

yeah

Hi guys! Since you guys are expecting to hear back any day now, let me know if you have any questions anddd I am subleasing a four bed four bath apartment steps away from the diag (Six11). My roommates and I are all moving out to study abroad and this apartment is seriously the best ever! Here is my umich email if any of you are interested (gmcmanus@umich.edu). I wish you all the best of luck and transferring was seriously the best decision of my life! As always, GO BLUE!

Did u guys see that people on Reddit are getting emails from admissions saying that their application is being withdrawn for not submitting materials on time? That probably means official decisions are coming out soon!

I did not see that. Hopefully ours will come this week!
