<p>I’m creating a list of schools to apply for transfer admissions next year, and so far I have: </p>

Hopkins
Cornell
U Penn</p>
<p>While I’d love to get into any of these schools and get enough financial aid to attend, there is a very real risk that I will not get accepted to any of them, or not get any financial aid. So I’ve been thinking about getting a fifth school as a “financial safety” that I will be able to afford should my other options not work out. </p>
<p>I’m thinking about Nebraska: Lincoln and Maryland at College Park because I am a legacy at both schools and in state at Maryland. I’m quite sure that I’d get into both schools, but I think that I’d get more money from Nebraska. </p>
<p>The thing is that applications are expensive and I’d rather apply to 4 or 5 schools instead of 5 or 6.</p>
