I am a community college student, and I’ve basically been taking some time to look at the different types of majors and schools that I could potentially transfer to. For reference, I am in California. My predicted GPA when I get out of community college is in the 3.0-3.3 range, depending on how the next few semesters go.
Right now, my major is Business Administration-Accounting, but I have been looking at UNLV for their real estate and hotel administration program. Can anyone comment about the program? I’d like to hear both the good and bad about the program.
Are there other good, specialty business schools with career paths like this? I originally wanted to become a CPA, but I am not sure whether or not it is worth the time and effort anymore. What is the reputation of UNLV, and if anyone has gone through their program-is it worth attending?
On another note-I am not looking for a degree that will satisfy educational requirements. I am looking for something that I can become entrepreneurial with.
