University of Notre Dame requiring SAT/ACT in 2028

The trend toward tests being required continues.

We toured ND in 2024 and they mentioned then that the school was considering this move. Looks like they followed through.

It’s far more than top 20 schools.

Good for UND - it’s the right call. Any school can use it as they want/see fit so having the requirement doesn’t make it onerous per se. If they want to admit a 900 SAT, they can.

Yes. It is more than the T20 although the T20 is a pretty heavy concentration. I edited my post.
