University of Oregon Class of 2029 Official Thread

More than a month after submitting a corrected SRAR, my son finally got his acceptance with the summit scholarship on Friday night. It appears the correction delays their admission but shouldn’t affect the decision or potential scholarships. Hopefully you hear tonight but if not, maybe reach out to your admissions officer in the morning since 12/15 has passed.

Has anyone here gotten a decision about the Clark Honors College?

No, not yet

7am east coast and nothing over night. Going to email counselor this morning.

Any other Early Action applicants not hear anything yet, or is it just us?

my son applied EA and hasn’t heard yet. He had an issue with his self reported grades so wondering if that put him at the bottom of the pile…

Same - she had to re-do them twice. But I thought we were supposed to hear on the 15th.

No. It is not just you.

We emailed counselor this morning but have not heard anything back. Received a marketing email from UO but that’s it. It’s unfortunate about the delay since getting on the housing list is only available to admitted students.

Oddly makes me feel better but also sad for all the anxious kids out there waiting. Do we know if they post at specific times each day? I feel like I’m wearing out my refresh button

Agreed. I wish they had sent an email explaining there are delays. My daughter has been so anxious and stressed thinking something is wrong with her application.

Our AO just wrote back to message sent this morning and said the committee is making their way through the last of the EA and we should hear something today! Good luck everyone!

My son’s portal just changed from pending architecture to architecture so they are making changes! He received email confirmation as well about an hour later. Good luck to all.

We heard back from the counselor too, but were told that it would be “soon.”

She heard that they should get to everyone today…. 9:45 east coast time now…waiting up.

Daughter got Honors College admit today (she was accepted in mid-October); she checked portal based on hearing from a friend. The email came about an hour later.
Just FYI to check portal, it might have an update prior to an email notification.

It is still possible to receive direct admission to business. My son (OOS) submitted his application in early September, was admitted to UO on October 18 as a pre-business major, and was notified this evening that he has been admitted direct to business. Looking at past years’ threads, it appears Lundquist notifications of direct admission continue into late spring, presumably as admitted students make their decisions and the business school gets a better sense of the size of the entering class.

We did not receive anything yesterday. Not sure why AO was confident in telling us it would come yesterday. Hope others heard good news. ShineyG, hope you were not up too late!
