University of Oregon early action decisions?

I applied EA on 10/31 and still haven’t heard anything… Makes me kind of nervous

D20 received an email today.

Accepted - Out of State
WGPA: 3.7
UWGPA: 3.6
SAT: 1320
ACT: did not take
Major: English

The email said she would be receiving an admittance packet in mail around 12/15. She also applied to the Clark Honors College.

Best of luck to all!

Son Applied EA on October 24 and he checked the dashboard on November 1st to make sure they got his transcripts and he could see he was accepted. He got the email about a week later. He got the packet about a week after that.

GPA 3.5
ACT 28
NO AP or Sports
OOS

My DD applied Oct. 31st and has not heard yet.

I applied on October 28th and heard back yesterday, 12/7. OOS, Marine biology major, 1350 SAT, 4.2 weighted GPA, 3.97 unweighted GPA, no sports but Sports Medicine and lots of volunteering. Didn’t apply to the Honors College.

I applied october 24, got in via email Nov 19, aid a week later and package three weeks later but haven’t heard back from the honors college yet.

Anyone know when we get the full financial aid information? We got a packet in the mail, sort of welcome info., and info. about a scholarship online, but nothing yet about the full package of financial aid.

My son applied EA and was deferred. Does anyone know the acceptance rate of deferred applications?? We are in CA. WGPA: 3.0 SAT: 1390. UofO is his 2nd choice, he didn’t get into his 1st choice.

My son applied on Oct 30th and got an acceptance letter Nov 7th. (His ACT scores had already been sent to Oregon at the end of his junior year.) Details of scholarship were in the letter.

OOS, Journalism
UWGPA 3.4
ACT 27
lots of extracurriculars (sports, theater)

Offered $10k/year scholarship

My son was told his app was undergoing a holistic review - he is an Eagle Scout, has over 5 years of consistent volunteer/leadership for a large non-profit, played Varsity baseball for 3 years and has several other extra-curriculars - including the development of a novel medical device - all covered in his essay, personal statement, and notes from his school college counselor. Any ideas if decisions after holistic review come out before RA? Or: are we stuck waiting until April 1st? Does anyone know if CompSci is impacted @ U of O?? TIA!!

If you look at their common data set from last year it looks like approximately 60 out of 100 kids got in off the waitlist. I think deferred is the same as waitlist but not positive

My daughter got accepted today. She applied to Clark Honors College. Does that get considered separately from general admission and if so, when do they notify?

@Queenof5 My daughter also applied to CHC. She received a separate email a few weeks after her Oregon acceptance that a decision to CHC is still pending and she should expect a full decision after 4/1. Basically, her admission decision to CHC has been deferred. But your daughter should be getting a separate email for admission to the honors college. Best of luck to your daughter.

My daughter applied to CHC and got a separate letter in the mail around Dec 20th that she was accepted. Those that haven’t heard back should be hearing back pretty soon! Good luck!

can one still apply to CHC now?

@NorCalHipHop Curious if your son ended up at Oregon? I hope he did.
