nursing here too, anyone know if nursing has taken longer in previous years?
My son applied for nursing last year and received his acceptance on Friday September 20th. I believe that was the first or second wave of nursing acceptances.

I had my son check his email last night (august 1 applied, arts & sciences, in state) - no word yet.
Mine too! Applied 8/1. Completed on 8/5 still pending. Applied to Dietrich and he is in-state.

I applied August first for nursing nothing yet. Looks like weāre all waiting together! Hoping for good news soon!

I think it usually can take a little longer but not like multiple weeks longer.
Any CS applicants who have heard back already? Wondering if CS also takes longer to hear back from like nursing.
Yes! Hoping for the best for both as well! It is my sonās 1st pick as well. My daughter is a Sophomore at Pitt and loves it!!

Two years ago, my older son applied for CS in mid August and heard before Labor Day, but that year people heard in general a lot sooner than last year

My D got in yesterday!
Applied mid August, SAT score sent on 8/22.
In state, Pitt portal, Dietrich.
Unweighted GPA 4.0, weighted 4.7? SAT 1550, 16 AP total.

My daughter applied to Dietrich for psychology on September 5th and Pitt portal says āawaiting decisionā since the 9th. Iām not sure if I calculated her GPA correctly as transcript only provided class rank. Freshman thru junior year, she had an overall average in the 90ās for each year. Involved in multiple school clubs, has taken multiple AP/honors classes in past years and currently taking some senior year, soccer team, member of NHS and works two jobs. Applied test optional. We shall see. Fingers crossed for everyone!

My kid also was admitted to Dietrich yesterday. OOS, Common App (submitted around 8/20), similar stats.

Iām wondering if they are currently only reviewing applicants who are definitely getting in and arewaiting for the borderline ones later.
They are definitely accepting people every day now tho
