Curious of stats of students applying for ED1 for Fall 2026

Good luck! My daughter is in her second year and loves it! My son was accepted for this year, but opted to go somewhere else. He’s super happy, too! Fingers crossed for your daughter!

S26 admitted to UR via EA round. Was anyone awarded merit or does it come later?

UR is a top choice for my S27. Would you be willing to post stats? And for those with students at UR, I would love to hear more about their experience!
DS accepted and received the Presidential Scholarship

DS was accepted and received presidential (1/3 tuition) scholarship. I have to say, this is such a blessing because he has been in deferral city and has been spiraling. We have never toured but are excited to do so. Stats: he had a top GPA (hard to calculate because it’s a weird scale, but all A’s), pretty much maxed out rigor, 1510, good EC’s including leadership and community service and university research.

So he applied to UR as ED?
Was the Merit offer written on the acceptance letter?
No EA to Richmond. He was deferred from two other schools he applied EA to earlier - that’s what I meant. Merit was on the portal when he opened it.

Congrats to all those accepted and good luck to those deferred. Son has had a slew of deferrals, so it was nice to be accepted EA this evening. Question: If no merit was awarded in letter, does that mean he is not being considered for Richmond Scholars? When he opens up the portal, it still says “Your application will be considered for the Richmond Scholars program.” But, then, I don’t see anything in the decision letter.
I was wondering the same thing. Unfortunately, when I just check the Richmond website… it says all Richmond Scholars for the Class of 2030 have been notified of their candidacy in the Spider portal. https://scholars.richmond.edu

S26 was accepted EA with the Presidential Scholarship. He was also notified that he’s a finalist for the Richmond Scholars. Anyone else’s kid a finalist too?
