I also got waitlisted but at this point am unsure if I will remain on the waitlist or not. Can any of you share some things that stood out about Richmond to you or anything that’s a driving factor for you staying on the waitlist?

Great, I’m also from India (New Delhi)

If you are not positive about the school, you should probably not stay on the waiting list. I fell in love with the school because of its proximity to the city, campus size, student body size, etc. It is my first choice and if I do get off the waiting list I will 100% be enrolling.

I am definitely going to attend, if I can get the right amount of aid
My NPC shows $5k per annum, and I’ll be happy to pay $6.2k per annum along with on campus job.

I contacted them about my waitlist offer and they reactivated my application for me to complete as per the missing items on my checklist which are SAT scores and the TOEFL. They said as soon as everything is complete then they will write to me and tell me on which day I should expect my final decision.

I am also starting to lose interest as well. I fell in love with the school but was kinda shocked that I was waitlisted. Academically it seems like the perfect fit for me but im still unsure if its the right social fit for me.

STATS:
3.9 unweighted / 4.6 weighted GPA
1390 SAT / 32 ACT
6 AP classes / remaining mostly all honors
4 year member of my clubs - now president of one
3 year member of my school’s swim team
Also had strong recommendation letters for what its worth
I’m from the midwest but don’t know anyone else from my high school / area who applied.

Waitlisted & just received their square foldable mailer on Saturday about 'waiting for a decision '. LOL
We won’t qualify for financial aid, but do need a discount. We were hoping for a merit award as has been offered with others. It says waitlisted students won’t get merit, so that takes Richmond off the table even if offered a spot for us. Moving on…

I just got an email saying my research article has been published (It was about the Goldbach’s conjecture in mathematics; done it all alone).

Do you think it’ll give me some advantage or help me get off waitlist ? (I really wanna go to U-Rich)

Hey everyone.

I was waitlisted because my application was incomplete but there was a misunderstanding since I had already informed my admission counselor that I will not be submitting SAT test scores, so they did not waive that. However they have assured me that they will will now waive the requirement and also reevaluate my application soon. Apparently I will receive my final admission decision in about two weeks, but I asked them if I can send a letter of continued interest. Still waiting for a response.

Lastly, the financial aid office said if I do get admitted, they will reinstate my financial aid application and also review my NCP waiver once again. But for now, they won’t so anything.
