Hi! My name is Melissa Ketten and I am an Associate Director of Admissions at Scranton. I hope you get some responses from our current students and alums, but I would also love to tell you more about our Education program! For undergraduates, we offer majors in early & primary education, middle level teacher education and secondary education. We also offer accelerated graduate degrees in secondary and special education (5-year program). Our students participate in field experiences in their first three years…all before completing their student teaching in senior year. This gives students the chance to experience the classroom from their very first year. Scranton has strong partnerships with area school systems, which facilitate the experience for the students.
