OOS- Texas
UW GPA- 3.7 W GPA- 4.1
SAT- 1350
AP - 5 (thru 11th grade) plus some Honors.

Holy cow! Mine was just accepted OOS but he is 100% getting deferred (or denied) from UGA. He is afraid to check his portal so he left and will check it later. I’m on pins and needles.

Wow. Not nearly as many defers as I expected.

You might get it!! Fingers crossed. We’re a little shocked as her stats qualified her for the in-state cost scholarship and honors college consideration. I guess you just never know.

Still nothing… sigh.

They seem to roll out new batches every 15 minutes.

OOS Accepted. Scholarship for in state tuition.

3.90/4.56GPA — 34 ACT — 2 varsity sports with 2 consecutive state championship wins for both. Team captain, small business owner. State music audition winner. Tons of ECs and leadership. 7 hard APs + 2DE (4’s and 5’s).

32 ACT (36’s on reading and english)
10 AP all 5’s on tests taken
4.1 GPA
4 year Varsity athlete (captain for 2 sports)
A lot of leadership positions through our church

Not a good week at our house. Super surprised by this deferral. Also deferred at UGA and Clemson. All OOS. Starting to think we were off on target schools.

Where does it tell you instate tuition? On the acceptance letter?

Did you have to apply for merit? OOS daughter just texted to tell me she was accepted but she didn’t say anything about merit.

Hmm seeing a few OOS acceptances with in state tuition offers. If my OOS kid was accepted but no mention of money should I assume they aren’t offering any?

For those of you who received in state tuition scholarships, was that in your admission letter?

OOS accepted into Darla Moore with merit! So, so happy. 3.9uw/4.4w. 11 AP. 1350 SAT. Now we can all take a deep breath. In a surprise twist none of us saw coming - in at Georgia! SAT was below their 25% so no clue how it happened. Now in at Auburn, Clemson, U of SC and Georgia. No clue how a decision is going to be made. I foresee a lot of school visits in our future!
