No it’s just the 8 digit # you were assigned when you applied or when your financial aid/ fafsa was done.
Can someone clarify? Daughter signed up for housing a few weeks ago. Should she be logging in somewhere to do the roommate match?
Can anyone log in to blackboard? I’ve never tried but it’s not letting me now if it ever has.
Roommate match is in the housing portal.
What is blackboard? I’ve seen it on here twice today and have no idea what it is.
Ok curious bc this was not how we were doing it before they took the fun video and buttons away but it may have worked this way too…
If you open your portal,
Go to menu top middle
Select Visit
Select find date under visit campus
Push close when that screen pops up
Scroll to bottom admitted students options
Select highlighted admitted students day
Should bring you to the you’re invited screen with the envelope
Then if you go back to menu in the top middle and select home again it brings you back to the “decided” portal
This may have been how some of the others were doing this earlier but we didn’t do it this way.
How do you access the housing portal?
Yes, that’s how ive been doing it.
I just googled what USC vip # means & it says you’ve been offered admittance. That being said my older son received the same thing 2 yrs ago & was waitlisted.
Maybe it’s just a sign of not being rejected completely
When I followed the steps listed in a previous post, my child’s portal now says : Decided.
Under application details, there a VIP number and a USC number…. But it still shows deferral letter from December, no new update.
Thoughts?
Yes but my older son received this 2 yrs ago & was waitlisted. Time will tell. Praying for good news this time
Was your son excepted afterwards?
No. He was accepted to other amazing universities, made his decision easier. He declined the wl option.
I was able to earlier today - I couldn’t do much but then I lost the ability
Did you click on one of the days for admitted students? Mine reads:
Admitted Student Day is for admitted students only. If you believe you are seeing this message in error, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by calling 803-777-7700.
This was posted over the weekend in the discussions around the other portal view - all had the same message. I believe until decisions are released - this will remain.
Yes i got the same message when I clicked on one of those dates
here is hoping the source this weekend was right that it is today - trying not to get hopes up but can’t help it!
