Checking in for anyone else who has applied to the University of St Andrews from the US. I submitted on 10/14 for Chinese Studies and IR. Anxious to hear back!

My S24 applied last year, and The Student Room eventually had a tracking spreadsheet indicating when people applied and when they got a decision, with qualifications and course listed as well. It was really handy last year, so you might want to see if they are doing that again this year.

My D25 was accepted for IR on 11/6, unconditional acceptance.

This was her first acceptance and she was thrilled! She is waiting to see all her options before committing, though. She has until Mid April to let them know.

She is an IB diploma student, 4.0uw/4.8 weighted, all 5s on AP test, 34 ACT and trilingual.

My daughter applied mid-December. With break, not surprised she hasn’t hear back yet. Fantastic uni by the way she’d be our second attending!

My D25 applied in early Jan. Have not heard anything. Hope to hear in the next week but may not.

Just got an Unconditional Offer for International Relations! US applicant, applied Dec 5 (so took about 6 weeks since they took 2 weeks off for holidays).

S25 applied in October and has not received any news through the portal yet (they said it shows as “considering application”). No missing information or updates, and it seems a little surprising as I thought it was a rolling admissions process. Has this happened to anyone else this year? Congrats to those who were accepted!!
