<p>Supposed to be a really nice school in a gorgeous area. I wouldve looked at it, but it’s affiliated, so I’d never go there.</p>
<p>Thanks. So does the affiliation make them super-religious? I know some schools are affiliated but they are more accepting of other religions. Do they require religious classes to be taken like Baylor does?</p>
<p>I have no idea about that. After I found out they were, I didnt look into it anymore.</p>
<p>It’s only affiliated by name, as there are no required religion courses and many/most students aren’t of the same religion.</p>

<p>Does anyone know how many students from Tulsa are accepted into Med School, or rather the percentage of pre-meds accepted?</p>
<p>From what I’ve heard, they have world class computer science and petroleum engineering programs, and do well in pre-med too. They were near the top of my list at one point, because they offer full rides to most national merit finalists.</p>

UTulsa also has almost no Jews, so it wouldnt be for me.</p>
<p>You would be missing out on a very good school if you didn’t investigate U of Tulsa. As I mentioned in other posts, Tulsa has a liberal arts college feel. It is very strong in the liberal arts and music and the community is much more cultural than you would believe. Even with Division I sports, this is not some mega and narrow minded campus.</p>
