I’m still considering which of the 2 Utah universities should I shortlist - UofU or USU? I plan to major in Finance and most probably join Honors college. I’m a 4.0GPA with a 1600SAT. My EFC is 0. At UofU, my COA would be ZERO and borrowing only $3000 of the Pell Grant with no loans. At Utah State, I would get 100% tuition scholarship. I’ll still have to bear room, books, meal and other costs. Is it worth it? I’d also be going to graduate school somewhere on the East Coast. Comparing rankings and stats, I feel UofU is a better choice than USU. I’m a US Citizen from outside US. I’m looking for the best academics. Also, I don’t want the universities to be religious, I mean they shouldn’t force into prayers, taking theology classes, etc. like BYU. I’m am Asian so I’d also like to feel safe on either of those campuses. I’m still shortlisting colleges, so I’d like to avoid wasting money on apps unnecessarily to universities which I’ll come to conclusion are not fit for me. Thank in advance!
