University of Washington Pre Health/Pre therapy route

My daughter is interested in being a PT. She has gotten into several colleges, but University of Washington is at the top of her list because she liked the campus and vibe so much. However, she went to the accepted students day orientation last week and attended the Pre Health Advising meeting. I have to say that almost 100% of the students in that meeting were med students. I realize U of W has a very good med school, but for someone that is interested in going into another health career there didn’t seem to be much support. Although U of W has a DPT grad program, they only mentioned PT once in the meeting and only along with all other health careers. It made her question if any students from UW go onto DPT school. Is it a mistake to go to U of W. It seems as though the advising is very focused on med students and classes she would take would be full of primarily med students that are very competitive in seeking a high GPA. Does anyone have any information or know of anyone that has done their undergrad at UW and gone onto DPT school successfully?

One of my HS best friends and sorority sister did exactly that and has had a lovely career. I’m quite surprised to read this but have zero current info.

My current experience extends to one UG nursing spent.
