no deferred means they want more time to review your application while waitlist means you’ll get in if they have vacant seats

Deferred is a re-review of your application, not a rejection, and you will be considered in the reg decision pool. waitlisted is a waitlist and if someone doesn’t accept their spot, you may be offered that spot (but it is a list so it depends)

Accepted, In State, College of Engineering. 35 ACT, 3.89 GPA unweighted, 8APs. This was his number one school and we are thrilled for him. Go Badgers!
