My son applied for Computer Science as first choice and data science as second choice. His offer letter doesnāt specify the major. It only says College of Letters and Science. What does it mean, did he get into CS or DS or general engineering?

Finally got through.
Accepted, OOS.
Direct to Business school, for finance.
3.95 UW, 5.2wGPA, 1510 SAT. 10 APs, rest all honors, fairly rigorous.
She was a soccer player, won her schools RIT Woman in STEM award.
I think her essay was decent but nothing special, and other ECs not amazing. In the end it was basically probably her all A- to A+ grades in all classes along with the rigor (classes like AP Calc BC, Chem, Bio).
Best of luck to all waiting. The delays on the portal were very frustrating, and I see some terrific stats from people who were deferred or rejected. Sheās feeling very lucky and humble.

I was accepted into college of letters and science (out of state)! Just heard, waited for 2 1/2 hours to get in! 3.9 weighted, 27 act (32 for reading and english though), and super good extracurriculars for my major

a 2+2 will look like a win at this pointā¦ in at MSU/ ASU Supply Chainā¦awaiting a Kelley petition (not holding my breath-tbh) UT-K Haslam after being deferred there too might be our best mix of major and campus feelā¦OSU is his #1ā¦another deferral from JAN roundā¦ long spring of waiting for repliesā¦ good luck moving forward!
