Yea

Worst. Portal. Ever.

Yes. It finally opened after several attempts however its a tiny window and you can only read a few sentences at a time.

I should’ve known the portal would have issues ever since my daughter was a male born on 5/28/77.

DD is in! Political Science-3.86, 30 ACT (private school no weighing). Good rigor and lots of EC’s related to major & leadership. So happy

I feel so lucky that we were able to log into the portal a couple of minutes past 7, and had one brief look at the admission letter. Haven’t been able to log back again since then. I would’ve gone crazy if we couldn’t log in 1.5 hours after the decision was released.

Their loss.

My admitted student now has access to Terra Dotta as well, and has ADMT in the diagnostics portion of the code page. (Note - the ADMT didn’t show up until after we already had an acceptance posted.)

Just for next years families

Dear xxxx:

On behalf of the Committee on Admissions, it is my pleasure to offer you admission to the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the College of Letters and Science.

You are an ideal candidate to carry out the Wisconsin Idea, the guiding principle that the university should improve people’s lives beyond the walls of the classroom. Our holistic admissions process is designed to seek out talented individuals like you; students who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence while contributing to their schools and communities. As a student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, you will be challenged to use what you learn both inside and outside of the classroom to make positive changes in your community and the world.

You can confirm your enrollment by accepting your offer of admission through your Student Center. To review your next steps, please refer to the Admitted Student Checklist found at admissions.wisc.edu/admitted. This checklist provides you with important information regarding financial aid, campus housing, and orientation for new students. Pay close attention to deadlines and any official documents that are required before you arrive on campus.

Your admission to the university is dependent upon maintaining the academic record and progression indicated when you applied to UW–Madison. We strongly believe that you will continue with the academic success you have shown.

I join our campus community in celebrating your incredible achievements thus far and look forward to welcoming you in Fall 2024.

Congratulations on your admission!

Sincerely,
Andre Phillips

Nope. Still says APPL

In state?

Hi all, I’ve been nervously watching this thread the past few days.
Thought I would share my son’s stats since he got accepted tonight–
OOS 4.25 GPA,TO, loads of ec’s and president of 2 clubs VP of one, and did a pre-college study abroad through our state’s university.
He’s probably an odd candidate as he applied as a music major to L&S, and was accepted. However, he still has to audition this weekend in order to be accepted to the music school and be a music major (fingers crossed!).
