It’s great that you’re keeping a track of changes in the diagnostic reports. We will surely find something in due course.
Someone from last year mentioned that for their admitted student after the decision release, they couldn’t access the housing portal for 3 days. So, while getting access to it may definitely be a great sign, but not getting it yet shouldn’t be a cause of concern either.
When you check the report, it just gives local data from your already open session in the browser, no interaction with backend servers. It’s only if you chose to submit it, you’d trigger something. So, don’t worry about it.

No classes, summer courses, or anything taken at UW-Madison before. I can access housing portal though.

In the my UW portal there is an app MY UW Diagnostic. If you launch it and click on view report, it will open a cryptic report. Please be mindful it will have your account details, so be very careful before sharing anything from that on this public forum.
Just look for this in your report:- uw:domain:my.wisc.edu:audiences:preparing_for_soar_access

Ok great, looks like they have indeed cleaned up the diagnostics. So far, this canvas access and housing portal are the prime suspects
