<p>are they only for if you drive in via a car ? (eg if you come by taxi/public trnsport then you dont need an unloading pass right?)</p>

<p>I come by plane everytime I arrive so I can answer this one pretty well…</p>
<p>Airport is 10-15 minutes from Penn. Ride can be anywhere from 7-8 minutes (no traffic and fast driver) to 30-1hr if there’s major traffic. If you go to the checked bag pickup, they’ll be exits on both sides. One side is chartered/private rides; the other side is taxis. You can techincally take SEPTA, though I wouldn’t recommend it if you are moving in. You won’t need move-in passes, only guest passes if you are bringing someone to help you move in.</p>
