UNLV.

Hi everyone,
I’m currently a senior in high school. I attended a charter school called Excelsior for 3 years. I had a problem with one of the staff members and decided to transfer schools. During the transfer, I never received any credit for the work I did for junior year. I tried contacting Excelsior to get my credits but they claimed they didn’t have any of my work anymore. The new school I went to, asked about the credits and I was advised to talk to Excelsior about getting my credits from junior year. But the counselor had told me that I only have a certain amount of days after I transfer schools to receive that credit. Is that true? So I never bothered. Figuring I’d just make the credits up. It’s a year later and now I’m a senior, I’ve just applied to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and because of my junior year, I don’t meet the GPA requirements, and I received a score of 1170 on the SATs (math, critical reading, & writing) I’m worried about not being accepted into UNLV due to my junior year. Is there anything I can do? Can I contact Excelsior a year later asking for a solution? Do I contact the district? Or do I write a personal statement to UNLV explaining what happened? I’m really starting to become depressed because of the situation. I’m hoping UNLV will understand what happened and sti accept me. Before that I was a good student, with a GPA of 3.0

Go to csn for two years and transfer. They’re pretty good with transfers from community college.
