So, for people whose unofficial transcripts have loaded, and those attending UW who might also know/guess, what do the “levels” on foreign language signify? I have a 5 in math and a 2 in German, and a quick Google search yields nothing.

2 Years of high school equivalent language in German

5 Years of math means you’ve taken at least calculus, I think. Statistics doesn’t add to it, (or it doesnt show up… I took calc and stats in high school and my math says 5 years/ 0 deficient)

@chesers - you should ask UW about this, because if they only have 2 years of high school language on your record, they’ll make you take language classes at UW before you can graduate (or you can take a proficiency test.)
