Nothing in today’s mail. Live in SF Bay Area.
Do you all think people in cali will get their letters by the end of this week?
@AmINick weird i got my letter for acceptance already but when i go to the website it doesn’t work for me either…
@sukeeni1997 You got your letter of acceptance but your unofficial transcript doesn’t load?!
Nothing in my Northern Cal mailbox either!!
Guys I keep seeing everyone freaking out about their unofficial transcripts not loading .-.
Now I don’t want to be rude, but its filling up my notifications like crazy. So just to clear it up. If your unofficial transcript does not load, that does NOT mean you have not been accepted. This trick is not guaranteed to work for everyone. You will not know for certain if you have been accepted/rejected until or unless you have received an acceptance/rejection letter. For those whose unofficial transcript has loaded: Yes, it means you have been accepted and your acceptance letter is on its way. If it says “College of Arts and Sciences” but you applied to a different department, that means you have not been taken as a DA. It means you have been accepted as an RA.
Now please stop freaking out XD
We have until March 31st to find out our decisions. Best of luck to all! Please don’t take this the wrong way. Just trying to help .-.
@Yvask95 Thanks for the clarification. No offense taken. My transcript has uploaded, but I’d like to know if I should have access to anything else … like Registration or Cost of Attendance? That’s my confusion …
@Yvask95 thanks for clearing things up! how do you know that the unofficial transcript loading means an acceptance? did you get this information from an official source or just fellow applicants?
Exactly what @Yvask95 said! The transcript means you are IN, several UW students have confirmed this to me.
AND for everyone about how letters are being sent out: apparently my dad called the admissions office today (I had no idea, probably because I was freaking about no letter yet even though my transcript is loaded) and YES they have only sent out a fraction, YES the batches are random, and YES even getting a very late letter (31st) means you can still get in- the date literally has nothing to do with your chances, the admissions office doesn’t send everything out at once or else they would be overwhelmed.
The student who talked to my dad was a senior, and she just said that she was accepted to UW towards the end of the admissions period, and literally the best thing to do is sit back and wait.
To those who have transcripts uploaded, congrats! Hopefully we will be fellow huskies :)>-
@GabiWasabi Thank you so much haha needed that a lot (:
@Yvask95 @GabiWasabi thanks for calming all of us down haha
@Yvask95 So just to clarify, if it says College of Engineering does that mean it is DA or just a different form of RA?
@Brianna3 As of now. I believe you shouldn’t have access to those because you haven’t accepted the offer yet. But don’t hold me to this
@monkeyblue97 There have been multiple threads on CC about this very topic over the years. Kinda why I started it. According to all the other threads, which I have read, you’re 99% accepted if your unofficial transcript loads.
@GabiWasabi Thanks for the info
@schoolisgood That would mean you’re a DA. RA is when you didn’t get into your choice of major but you have been accepted to UW. For example, if I applied to the College of Engineering but on my UT it says “College of Arts and Science”, it means I wasn’t denied to my choice of major, but I was accepted to UW. Therefore, I would be an RA.
@Yvask95 looking at other threads have you found someone who was denied with an unofficial transcript?
I was denied to my choice of major*
@HomeInNevada so far, no. Never heard of it. It seems impossible anyway. I mean think about it… You’ve been given a student ID number. It makes no sense for a rejected student to receive that.
@Yvask95 I’m just curious about the fact everybody says 99% chance it implies that something once happened lol
@HomeInNevada Yeah I was curious about that as well. But I assumed it was because of peoples disbelief that something could be 100% sure, so they say 99% instead
@Ysknak95 That makes sense lol Just dont want to tell everyone I got in when it was just a fluke X_X lol
