@Coriander23 Is there still any hope? It seems like everyone is getting their transcripts uploaded, congratulatory messages posted, and even acceptance letters for some – while I haven’t even had my transcript uploaded yet. I can’t help but feel like I was rejected, despite what everyone here is saying about my stats.

I tried the unofficial transcript thing yesterday, then I checked my status today online, and I got in! So I guess unofficial transcript trick is right.

@Paradoxical1 I really feel for you. If transcripts were still loading yesterday and you have not gotten a rejection, do not give up hope! It’s UW’s loss if they don’t admit you. Your ECs mean more than any GPA or test score could ever mean. And your GPA is fine, while your test scores are great. You will rock the world. I hope it starts at UW, but if not, you’ll rock it nonetheless. I was rejected to a school I loved and it feels shitty. But I’m holding out hope UW will work out for you!
@paradoxical1 yea i saw it on a forum on this website, some parent said her daughter got an acceptance letter but her transcript didnt load
@Brianna3 Yeah, UW is my dream school so I can’t help but feel bummed out about the whole process rn. Still some semblance of hope but starting to just err on the side of rejection…
@paradoxical1 Don’t give up hope!!! You may come home one day to find a nice gold letter waiting for you at home 
The only logical reason I could think of you getting rejected would be maybe they assume that you applied to UW as a safety and are most likely not going to attend if accepted? I’m not sure…but that’s how good of an applicant I think you are! So have faith and patience, and hopefully we’ll hear good news from you soon. Fingers crossed!
I just got home and saw my gold envelope! I’m OOS (Louisiana) but no money offered. What are the qualifications for the Purple and Gold Scholarship? I’m almost dead-set on going here, but it would be nice to chip off a few thousand dollars…
Hang in there! Several of my friends were admitted as OOS students with similar stats. And there’s always a chance that you were placed on the waitlist, which I believe a lot of people are eventually accepted off. The UW also has an appeals process–a couple students in the grade above me were waitlisted/rejected but successfully appealed and are here now.

I know it’s not over 'til it’s over but just seeing everyone around me getting signs of acceptance–from unofficial messages to congratulatory messages–while nothing is showing up for me just has me worried, especially since the vast majority of the people who have received letters have been able to get their transcripts to load.
@girlfromworld1 UW Seattle does not have a set group of stats for the scholarship, they might pick looking at an application holistically
As an in state applicant I thought that my semi-decent stats but good ec’s would get me into this school. sigh this is hard.
@uwhusky1997 Same boat as you, but I’m OOS. Hopefully things turn out well for the both of us.
It’s so odd because the in state acceptance is supposed to be about 60-65% yet I still have no congratulatory message. It stings a little, as this is my first choice college. I wish you the best of luck!
