I got rejected ;( so sad becuz i was really waitied forever and … But i got at least uci, temple,michigan!! Im gonna try next yr! Others have a patience ill end… And im international student live in pa. 3,2gpa not good sat but lots of ec like sports clubs… Goodluck!!

my unofficial loaded today and was placed into Eop program. tbh i was suprised i got in with my stats, i had even began to write an appeal letter just in case!
Got rejected today! Haven’t decided if I will appeal or not. Oh well, got rejected to Vanderbilt yesterday too. Stuff happens. Congrats to everyone that was admitted! Hang in there to all Waitlisted/rejected, the right school is among us. It will manifest itself shortly. Good luck everyone!
Some sites had predicted that the 2015-2016 acceptance rate would increase, however I don’t feel like that’s the case. It seems to have decreased this year
It decreased overall, but increased for in state.

independent study in Electrical/computer engineering in which I built an autonomous quadcopter drone
Volunteer and participant at multiple Hackathons and tech conventions
Essays were good, not spectacular
not going to lie a little bummed out, congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to my fellow waitlisters!
@petersja You got waitlisted with a 2190 SAT? Wow, they must’ve REALLY focused on unweighted GPA this year
@ferdinand Essay is so much more important than people give credit for. And yeah GPA is extremely important at UW - Seattle.
@YoonMiRae Well that worked out well for me, since my GPA and my essays were my strong points but my SAT/ACT were meh haha. I think my test scores are what are getting me waitlists/rejections from the top UC’s, but I love Seattle so all is good 
@ferdinand32 I know people with high gpa/sat and have gotten waitlisted/rejected because of their essay. like the essay is so important and many with high scores don’t even know that! Thats great though, I hope you have a great time at UW - Seattle if you end up choosing this school.
@ferdinand32 unfortunately so, that wasnt even superscore either. My GPA was extremely middling though. Some of my friends who got in wont attend so when they inform UW that they wont be attending i’m having them include a note that I’d be a good candidate to take their spot, hopefully it works out lol

I go to one of the highest ranked boarding schools in the country hence my GPA but thought UDub may compensate for that in the holistic review but I guess not
