Unorthodox Short Answer, is this Okay? (Stream of Consciousnes, inconsistent grammar)

“So fine, 2.5% on the IMF loan, but no more… now are you with us on the currency revaluation?” Ethiopia thought about it for a moment before acceding “I suppose we are.” Oh the thrill, the joy. Model United Nations (MUN) is among my favorite activities. For me it is complicated, sometimes problematic; or in the other words: fun. My family immigrated to the USA from Turkey, dinners rarely passed without a reference to recent news. I became obsessed with history, politics, and international affairs. MUN allowed me to express those interests. Prepare, research, write speech, rewrite speech, insert slightly comical opening, surprise with engaging economic data, and conclude with overarching goal, you are your nation, no one wins and no one loses, every conference a new challenge. Wait, she’s smarter than you, no matter, you can reference her country’s behavior during the Algerian civil war, now she is hypocritical, she smiles wryly, you sly dog you. Talk with her after conference, laugh, be friends. How else would I have met her? MUN provides you with friends, engages you, it is fun and fascinating, you love the thrill of debate, you love MUN.

It stands out. That’s always a good thing. I was actually genuinely engaged by it, which is more than I can say about my own short answer! I think it’d definitely be okay… you don’t always need to conform to standards, especially if your other longer essay is grammatically correct and such.
