TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Sixty-seven percent of Florida State University College of Law students have made cash contributions to the law schools annual fund, making the 2008 rate of student giving the highest in the schools history. Students contributed during an annual fund drive held February 4-8.

The unprecedented rate of student giving inspires the alumni, said Dean Don Weidner. According to American Bar Association data, there are only five public law schools with alumni giving rates higher than Florida States: University of California – Berkeley, University of California – Los Angeles, University of Maine, University of Virginia and William and Mary.
