Thoughts on the Greek Debt Crisis.

Greek Debt Crisis is interesting in the sense that two of the countries bailing out Greece has massive issues of their own.

mainly Portugal and Spain.

honestly though what you saw today was a computer based sell off. The news network will claim glitch or error but if you look at the charts.

As it passed through technical levels my sell triggers happen as well and on the way down my buy triggers, triggered as well. The move today was unbelievable but i believe it was mostly a result of computer based buy/sell schemes.

If you look at the very hard hit stocks you see Bank of America and in today’s move it crossed it’s key resistance level for an uptrend at 17.11 and hit 66% retracement in one move and rebounded. The sell off hit it’s extreme once it crossed that threshold and the rebound was just about right.

1000 points move in a hour is a VERY rare occurrence but if you look at the VIX i would buy some short term SPY rebound. Atleast thats what i did near the end of trading along with the shares i added near 1082 on the S&p500

Look at what happened to the Russians during that default on bonds.

If Greece default it’s implication of widespread default in the euro zone could be catastrophic
