Sadly, nothing. This is “junk mail”, just from a college instead of the local carpet cleaning company. It is as meaningful to your chances of being admitted as the junk mail you receive about the American Publisher’s Clearinghouse sweepstakes is about your chance of winning the lottery.
If you’re curious, read it. You’ll soon find that the majority of the junk mail you get from colleges is generic and so similar that you could plug the name of most any college in the marketing material from any other college and nobody would ever know the difference.
And yet colleges won’t stop sending them…
