Unusual College Acceptance Packages

I’m curious about colleges that send weird, unusual, interesting, or unique things along with their acceptance packages, in addition to the usual “congratulations” letter.

Anyone know any cool ones?

MIT sends a cool tube.

Reed sends confetti.

I heard Bennington or one of the other small Vermont Liberal Arts Colleges sends maple syrup.

Princeton used to send only this really cool letter:

<a href=“Form error”>http://www.edwardtufte.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00007Q&topic_id=1

I liked one of the comments on possible responses to the letter:

"The text and tone of the letter seem to imply that the applicant will attend Princeton. Do you think the admissions office will appreciate the response “No! I’m going to Yale!”

Correction: MIT sent a cool tube this year EA. RD will not be a tube, and nor has a tube been used before. I doubt packages are the same every year.

Last year bennington sent a tee shirt, maple syrup and a really cute drawing by a student welcoming me to bennington

university of michigan dearborn gives ya a t-shirt.
