Unusual scholarships...

We could’ve bought a LOT of duct tape for what we spent on a prom dress, and gotten a scholarship too!

lol luckysmom!!!

We are HUGE duct tape fans over here…I bought my son a wallet made of duct tape (from thinkgeek.com), and my D’s prom dress was “altered” a bit by some duct tape on the way out the door! :o We did get a great sale on the dress, though…$159.99 marked down to $29.99–I’d probably have spent more than that on duct tape to make her one!

berurah-OK, it’s settled. You’re doing the dress shopping for us from now on! We can’t even find shoes for that price.
I’ve decided that for my younger kids, I’m going to start training them now how to perfect milk moustaches while on the stretching machine after they are done composing space music in klingon. Afterwards, they can knit a copy of the Star Spangled Banner (with sincerity) using just their left hand while reading Ayn Rand on a skateboard. That should help finance their educations!

Girl, I am a sale shopper EXTRAORDINAIRE!!! Let’s talk shoes…I got my D these silver, flat, beaded, sequined gorgeous shoes for under $10.00. Sale shopping is a NECESSITY for us, believe me, and I am the BEST sale shopper ever!–And all of this stuff is bought at the same nice dept. stores and boutiques where the other girls buy their stuff! (I’ll pm you a link to a pic of her in her dress, O.K.?)

lol :D!!! Hey, if they get all that down, tell 'em to come and tutor MY kids on the intricacies of these things! BTW, I am an Ayn Rand FREAK!! I even have a “Who is John Galt?” t-shirt!

lol…this goes right along with my 8-year-old’s career plans…he has informed us that the wants to grow up to be a roller coaster designer with his best friend!

~berurah

berurah-I’ll be looking forward to it!
That rollercoaster design contest looks really cool. My youngest is the only one of my kids who ever got into the K’nex and other building toys. I’ll start him on working on that now too!
