Sorry to take this thread off topic for a minute, but @emilyhuntnelson does your DD have academic acceptance to GM yet? It almost sounded like that would come with results of dance audition, but I wasn’t clear on that. Thanks!
@elmom25 no, she does not, so you could be correct. Did you guys also attend the audition this weekend?
Yes my husband and my DD were there. They thought it was a very impressive program. She thought she recognized someone there from Dancewave, so that may have been your DD. 
My daughter received her academic acceptance separate from her dance acceptance at George Mason last year.
@dancepath My D auditioned at the Jazz Showcase and did receive a phone call the Monday after the Showcase with an acceptance offer. We haven’t received an actual acceptance in writing, which makes us nervous for some reason. Would love to have something in black and white! They did say at the Q&A that it would be around holiday time that letters would be sent out. Good luck to everyone auditioning this year for 2021!

Update on UofA auditions, I’ve seen various posts on other websites that at least 3 girls have been accepted - one posted 10/17 (last name starts with A) one 10/23 (last name starts with b ) and one last night 11/13 (last name starts with P) I’m losing hope for my DD since they passed our letter of the alphabet ? - this could be coincidental, but thought I would share to see if anyone else heard yet.
It’s my understanding that there will be a limited number accepted quickly (after jazz showcase) then some invitations to come take class/ re-audition (kind of like a call back) then there will be actual declines sent. So I wouldn’t lose faith yet! They told my daughter they would hear around nov/dec
@dak185 Not sure what order they’re releasing the letters. My DD auditioned at U of A jazz showcase and got a call but no letter yet. Her name would be between A-P. Wishing your DD a positive outcome!
@emilyhuntnelson Yes, it is my DD’s first choice. She loved Oklahoma City University’s program too. It has been a tough decision! Two very different programs and schools.
Still nothing for us (last name T). She was accepted early into the university and Honors college as a national merit scholar. Just waiting on the dance program! Has anyone’s status changed in their portal? She auditioned in September. Said we would hear in November but the website says December.

At the Q&A after auditions they said they use the videos to go back and look when there isn’t agreement among the team. Or if there is something they aren’t sure of. They said sometimes they don’t even look at them. Seems like that’s the case for many programs except when they use them for a pre-screen.
My notes from Sept 21 audition: expect outcome letter in early November. 3 possible outcomes:
Non-accept—they will provide feedback if you call, you can Audition a 2nd time.
Possible-accept—stay in touch, come back, might request additional video.
Accept.

My DD did receive her UA school of dance acceptance letter yesterday. One very excited young lady! Hoping everyone finds out their results soon! I know waiting is tough!
oh…and FYI… my DD’s acceptance letter did state that the portal would not be updated to show acceptance to majors requiring auditions until probably early December, due to UA’s launch of a new admissions system (‘Slate’).
