<p>Yes. it was terrible, i was so ****ed with myself on the science i pratically gave up. I got a 20 on the science section last time.</p>

<p>Good for you for your improvement! Duke, UCLA and Georgetown are “high reaches” and the others are low reaches. If you can get your score up to a 31 or higher, your chances will increase substantially UNLESS you are an URM, have a legacy claim or qualify as a developmental admit (like you are the child of Governor Sebelius, eg!)
Are you working with the REAL ACT redbook? That seems to be the preferred prep book!</p>

<p>i would add chicago and berkeley to that high reach list (especially since you don’t live in california). maybe rice, too.

<p>Hey dnlago, first off…congratulations! 29 is impressive. I am kind of in your situation. I just got a 26 on my ACT and I want to go to Duke, too. I don’t know if I will get 30+ this year but during my junior year I should have it. Good luck.</p>
