<p>I went to visit a college that won’t be named, but was basically the opposite of Chicago. They classified themselves as being very down to Earth. I was sure what that meant but I was told it was like they were very humble and not boa****l. </p>
<p>Does anyone else like that aarogant aspect of the U Chicago? (espically when they trash all thier competitors in thier inforamtion session)</p>
<p>Oh yes, that dreaded University of Chicago policy that trash must be talked of other schools during thine information sessions…</p>
<p>chicago has arrogance? maybe since i grew up with an arrogant harvardite as a brother, i became a saint ; D</p>
<p>Haven’t visited U of C, but Princeton has had its share of Harvard & Yale bashing… they really make it clear that Princeton is the “Ivy for Undergrads”. </p>
<p>I’m not surprised that U of C is part of that trade… what other school can call itself “The Life of the Mind”!</p>
