Update: Boston housing recommendations

<p>My dd is now looking for an apartment with another girl who will be teaching at the same charter school. However, the campuses have been split: one is in east side of south boston; other is in roxbury. Any ideas of decent neighborhoods which would be 25-35 minute commute for both girls? Perhaps North end or Andrew square? Both look doable on mbta site. . . </p>

<p>North End, the South End, maybe Fenway area, Leather district (more commercial). 25 - 35 minute commute could take them to Allston/Brighton and beyond.</p>

<p>I would consider Southie itself given the need to commute to Roxbury. Maybe Roslindale Square. The ride from the main part of Southie to Roxbury might not be that bad.</p>
