Update on fake teacher recs?

<p>Does anyone have any news on what happened to the student who was starting at Yale and who may have faked his teacher recs?</p>

<p>The issue was discussed in the thread “fake teacher recs – what should I do?” in which collegebound2009 posed the question about a classmate who may have faked teacher recs. (The thread was closed in August).</p>

<p>A number of us are wondering what ultimately happened. The latest post regarding this issue was:

collegebound2009 reported on 8/18/08: the other teachers wrote them…but apparently he didn’t waive his right to read it. So whatever they wrote he saw, and he himself mailed it out(so they told me)</p>

<p>You can fill in the blanks. the teachers are going to ask Yale to compare the letters sent with what they wrote.
