Update on the Uncle (and unsung heroes)

<p>I have an update on the Uncle. And I have an update on unsung heroes…Mr. Ellebud. </p>

<p>I am starting by saying that (yes this is irony) I don’t drive much. I haven’t driven at night in 31 years due to night blindness. None of my doctors told me that I shouldn’t/couldn’t drive at night or on the freeways…I knew that I shouldn’t and that was enough. I have never gotten a ticket (except for parking tickets) and have (knock wood) had a accident that I was responsible for.</p>

<p>Mr. Ellebud called me the other evening. He was on his way home after taking the Uncle to the doctor. (He picked him up and drove him to the doctor…left work early to pick up the Uncle.) Mr. Ellebud never said a word about the taxi service (he has now admitted to picking him up a few times). The result has been that the uncle was off the road and Mr. Ellebud was working at home late in the evening. </p>

<p>While I have purchased and had delivery of food sent to him…I am amazed that (despite the fact I will never inherit the millions) Mr. Ellebud did this without being asked…nor compensated in anyway.</p>
