<p>however, my boss signed me up for something at work which I thought I would hate and I actually really like it a lot so that’s made work a bit more bearable… and today I got a really nice raise AND a bonus (complete surprise to me about the bonus!)… so things have been a bit better there.</p>
<p>My sister has a date to prom, somebody asked her via myspace… which I thought was cute :)</p>

<p>I’m sure it was someone your sister knew already or you’d probably be more alarmed than cute :). Hope she has a great time.</p>
<p>I have noticed that having the public comments on myspace seems to bring out the competitive instincts in beaux. Growing up in a house with five girls there was a few awkward occasions when more than one boyfriend hopeful would show up at the same time for the same sister. Made for some very uncomfortable conversations on the couch. But now the kids seem to thrive on it.</p>
<p>It’s a boy on her bowling team, I just thought it was hilarious the way he asked. He was leaving a comment about something or another and at the end he threw in a ‘hey would you like to go to prom with me’ and she went and responded as a comment to him saying ‘yeah that would be cool’</p>
<p>I just laughed… and laughed… and then laughed some more.</p>
