If she’s an amateur photographer- meaning not pro but somewhat experienced…wouldn’t she probably do a better job of editing??

My guess is that only necessary medical staff and family are around the princess currently. Thus no official photographer to take the pic.
I think they need to involve Sophie and Anne to clean up this mess.
As far as pictures, Kate does take a number of family photos of the children, I also know she took one of Camilla for some publication I believe?
I think the one in the car was not a picture they officially put out there; it was some pap shot if anything.
My husband put on Twitter that he thinks Kate’s statement did not acknowledge that she edited that particular photo; instead, it just said that she is an amateur photographer who has edited photos (or something to that effect). Basically, she never said, “I edited/photo shopped the photo”.
However, it is almost impossible to follow the story without thinking it is really strange. I give William a lot of credit for keeping it together.
Interestingly, we watched the BBC news tonight on several channels and little to nothing was said. I wonder if they have been given marching orders to tone it down.

OK, do any of y’all watch Daily Blast Live? It’s a midday talk show and a sometimes panelist is from the UK. These people aren’t usually alarmist, but there was some speculation that something is SERIOUSLY wrong. And they mentioned things i hadn’t thought of or heard, like how there are not green leaves on the trees right now. And there is some big event all royals are supposed to attend, something military in June, and her name has been taken off the list of attendees. Why so far out?
Another theory is that she is done after all the alleged affairs of William. She’s being Waity Katie like in the olden days.
I think the Princess is still recovering and wants to keep her situation as private as possible. Bringing in a photographer invites more access to her medical condition or chit chat from the kids. Sometimes the littles spill more info than mom/dad may want. It would not surprise me if the kids are working with home tutors right now.

This is the annual Trooping the Colour. The people in charge of the event included her name without checking with Buckingham Palance - and since tickets are sold for the event, BP had her name removed. I don’t think this means she isn’t coming.
I thought the green leaves controversy had been settled.

Not giving proof of life at this point is bizarre. If the rumors about the prognosis of King Charles’ cancer not being good are true, then W&K’s ascension to the throne could come sooner than people think and there needs to be confidence in their ability to assume the roles.
Continuing to intentionally keep silent, with all the damaging rumors currently swirling (including William’s alleged affair/divorce speculation and even worse, the rumors that Kate has passed away) definitely fuels the anti-monarchy sentiment. The obviously photoshopped pictures just add to the bizarreness.
At the very least, William should put out an official statement addressing the concern over Kate, confirming that she is indeed “okay” and continuing to recover. It would help if they released what surgery she had, so people would stop speculating. If it was Crohn’s-related or a hysterectomy, I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just say it. Being vague about it just causes crazy rumors and gossip. These two are the future king & queen of England - they need to get this reeled in and buttoned up!

Being an amateur photographer and being good at photoshop are two totally different skills. I totally see how it COULD happen. Why fail to see is HOW did it happen.
I know lots of people great with photoshop who take an average picture and make it amazing. So amazing, it cannot be replicated in the camera. Conversely, some old school photographers are good with a camera but not so good at post-processing. The two are different skill sets.

The H&M camp probably should have remained mum on this issue (especially considering the existence of a pretty vocal cohort who believe Meghan’s pregnancies were faked), but I think adding a tree (or tweaking background color or lighting) is not on the same level as manipulating humans into a photo (or now multiple photos) that never existed or didn’t exist in its current state.

They could just release the original, non-photo shopped photo and say ‘see how bad this was and why we had to photoshop it’.
Or they can enjoy the stories and the speculation.

So many theories of possible ailments the Princess have been swirling. The discussions that I’ve seen (not that I’ve been following very closely) seem to focus on the physical. I wonder if it’s her mental health that may be the cause. That may be more of an issue for the Royals.
Actually, I think adding a tree is worse.

I know absolutely nothing about these people, their whereabouts, or anything else, other than their names and that they live in England, but I’ve read this entire thread with amazement. I love a good conspiracy when it isn’t harming to a nation or the planet, and this one is amazing - I’ve looked at the doctored photos, now become aware that that there’s trouble brewing in the relationship of the 2 principal characters, and it really is stunning.
All that to say, I’ll throw in my 2c. She’s dead or dying, her husband has a mistress who he will marry as soon as possible (isn’t that what his father did?), the king is going to die by June, and every photo we’ve seen since she supposedly went in for “surgery” has been so badly altered that all their royal secrets are going to come flooding out.
It’s like a soap opera, only better.
