Me neither! So it kills me that I agree with you (but I think it looks like Pippa). But I think the whole thing is ridiculous because monarchies are ridiculous. But I’m not gonna get into that

I felt like her face looked fuller/puffier than normal?
If that is Kate. I agree with others that the photo looks similar to but not really like her.

Some super sleuths had zoomed in on the picture on conspiracy twitter (which I read during a bad night of insomnia!), and there was no mole on the supposed Kate’s face in that pic (Kate has a mole above her lip, right side…I learned that night 
)
But…who knows…it could have been a photoshop of an already photoshopped photo

And immediately the conspiracy theories begin. People are already commenting that the green grass and foliage indicate that this is an old photo. Others are claiming it’s AI. Others saying her right hand is blurry and the left is clear, so obvi this is a fake or photoshopped photo. Kate isn’t wearing wedding ring, bah blah. Comments about Charlotte’s knee looking odd and Prince Louis’s odd finger position. Etc. etc. etc.
Nothing the Royal Family does will go without the accusations that it is all faked. But maybe this photo is bogus; nothing would really surprise me anymore.

What surprises me most is that Kate is wearing jeans! :).
And to throw more speculation into it (not that I favor that, but because this is what people do…) as someone who has always been so thin - and it has been said that she lost an alarming amount of weight before the surgery (?) - she looks great - but her skinny jeans show more shapely legs than I might imagine….and the dark clothing on top….is that purposeful - hard to see her body?
Truly, not dissing her or the photo but just adding fuel to the fire of speculation as seen only here on CC….

Also true that most pics they release no matter who took it, maybe subject to some polishing up when it’s the Royals. I think Louis’s hand just looks like a antsy little kid who can’t wait to get the pic done and change out of his pic clothes!
Surprised no one has yet speculated that it’s a fake pic because skinny jeans are out of style and Kate is typically so stylish
FWIW, this is an official pic so I tend to believe it. Far more than the TMZ pics which the UK media didn’t even publish…which is saying something!

I am so confused?
I am not one who usually gets involved in these silly conspiracies, and I wish the Princess all the best as she recovers from the surgery. However , the photoshop claim is real if you look at Charlotte’s sleeve. My guess is the target of the photoshop was Kate’s hand, to hide bruising from an IV or similar. And they just didn’t check the edges of the fix(ie Charlotte’s sleeve curve ended up way off).

Kate also isn’t wearing her engagement/wedding ring.
They pulled it after post-publication review deemed the image was altered. It’s top news agencies too, including AP and Reuters.
