Updating a resume?

<p>Weird question–
So my school <em>mailed</em> my resume with other documents (transcripts, letters of recommendation etc.) to Yale…but now I was wondering if I could update the resume. </p>

<p>…could I just upload an updated version to the Common App additional information section with a note to disregard the mailed version?</p>

<p>Or would that look too unprofessional and should I just forget about it, haha.</p>

<p>It really depends on the update, but it’s probably not necessary.</p>

<p>^If you haven’t submitted your common app, I would just do that and update your resume in your additional info section.
If you already submitted it, can not longer change it, and feel strongly about the update, I would fax Yale a polite letter noting that you recently did this or that.</p>
