<p>I updated MIT on some of my extracurics/research stuff about a week ago via <a href=“mailto:admissions@mit.edu”>admissions@mit.edu</a>, but I haven’t gotten any type of confirmation back from them. Does anyone happen to know if this is the right address to use to update them :)?</p>

This is a good method to use for late updates also. Given that selection will start soon, you may want to fax a copy of what you sent via email, just to be sure it’s been added to your file. (Include your name and birthdate to be sure it gets into the right file.) You should not expect any confirmation of receipt at this point.</p>
